These are apple dolls my group did for Art In The Curriculum with Linda Bauer this semester. Apple dolls are a signficant cultural activity for Appalachian children. We then wrote a story about four friends, Kasey the pig, Lucy Goosey, Hope, and Sammie the Wiener Dog using as many descriptive words as possible. It was really fun!
